I find it hard to believe we’ve arrived at the end of May. It’s not that I feel as if it has flown by, but perhaps, I’m just reluctant to say au revoir to my absolute FAVORITE month of the year. If anything, May has been slow, relaxed…a gentle pace. I savored each sip of an Aperol spritz that May slipped in between my fingers. I smiled (really big) each time I took one step down my Upper West Side stoop and immediately felt the humid-less, air welcome me outside. I spent quality time with family and friends across three cities. The compromise with turning over the calendar page, thankfully, looks bright, sunny, and blue. ENTER SUMMER.
As we celebrate Memorial Day weekend in the States, we also welcome the unofficial start of summer. So, now that I’ve kept you reading this far…allow me to present a curated list of everything I’m embracing this summer, my first summer in New York City.
