Desk Note 10 - three ways to enjoy the endless summer sun

I’m hard-pressed to think of a better feeling than returning from a long day in the summer sun and rinsing away the sea salt and sweat before jumping into a freshly made bed. Maybe it is top of mind because that’s what my Sunday consisted of today. The past few weeks have felt endless, timeless, and full of sunshine. Here’s how I’ve been enjoying summer days around the city with friends lately:

1. SPORTY: my first time at a Yankees game…but definitely not my first time wearing everyone’s favorite sun-faded baseball hat.

2. SPRITZY: do I really need an explanation here? I’ve loved hosting my friends this summer to catch up over an aperol spritz (on the couch, in the air conditioning, and sometimes with cake…a win-win if you ask me.)

3. SANDY: Rockaway Beach is a hop, skip and ferry ride away from Manhattan. Simple, sweet, summer fun!
